Bienvenue!

Lapalala Wilderness est une réserve naturelle privée située dans les montagnes du Waterberg à quelque trois heures et demie de Johannesbourg.

Des rivières limpides courent à travers un bush vallonné marqué de ravins escarpés qui abrite des hôtes aussi illustres que le rhinocéros blanc et le rhinocéros noir, le buffle, l’hippopotame, la girafe, le crocodile, le léopard , le babouin ainsi qu’une multitude d’antilopes de toutes espèces. La réserve a été créée en 1981 et fait aujourd’hui partie de la Waterberg Biosphere Reserve.

Lapalala Wilderness School was very excited to be visited by the Grade 6 and 7 classes from Auckland Park Preparatory School. Fortunately the weather was lovely, except a very chilly sleepout, so all activities could be enjoyed by everyone.
