Bienvenue!

Lapalala Wilderness est une réserve naturelle privée située dans les montagnes du Waterberg à quelque trois heures et demie de Johannesbourg.

Des rivières limpides courent à travers un bush vallonné marqué de ravins escarpés qui abrite des hôtes aussi illustres que le rhinocéros blanc et le rhinocéros noir, le buffle, l’hippopotame, la girafe, le crocodile, le léopard , le babouin ainsi qu’une multitude d’antilopes de toutes espèces. La réserve a été créée en 1981 et fait aujourd’hui partie de la Waterberg Biosphere Reserve.

The third week of January started off with a flurry of excitement with a visit from one of Makhado’s schools in the Soutpansberg region (Ridgeway College). The learners enthusiastically tackled the obstacle course and bravely handled all of the creepy crawlies. The favourite activity of the camp was in the end the sleepout since most of them have never had such hot bush experience.
